Pros
Virtualization changes how data and it infrastructures are built, managed, and maintained allowing for continuous uptime, unlimited test enviroments, all with a decrease in energy usage. The technology is smart and effective with a strong ROI realized quickly. It is a great product that I would use in my own business had i owned one.
Cons
It is a grind.. There is always work to do and even after a 14 hour day a sense of guilt that you have not worked enough or completed all the days tasks. They are extremely "manager" heavy with tons of layers of management to report to. Decisions are often made by the managers behind the desks with little input from the workers who ar actualy on the front lines experiencing the day to day interactions with the customers. Need more continuity and less micromanaging.
