      Pros

      2-3 years ago I would've given 5 stars across the board. VMware was very employee oriented. I bragged as often as I could about how happy I was to be a part of such an innovative company with such supportive management. Work/Life balance was a concept I had never heard of and the growth opportunities were limitless.

      Cons

      Cash flow business model. That's the only thing that seems matters now. Not the years of hard work people have put into that company. Culture and values used to be important. Guess that's just the nature of the beast. They've really grown to embrace the devil that is Corporate America. I think it is safe to say that it won't be getting better any time soon.

      •Great Campus •Nice Kitchens •Turtles are nice as well

      Cons

      •Horrible upper Mgmt •They bring in people they know to fill management roles in stead of hiring within and promoting hard-working employees •Management is clueless •They claim you have endless PTO but if you miss one day you're so buried in work you regret even taking a day off •They underpay employees

      Where to start...no career development, no leadership from management, no opportunity to progress career, company would rather higher outside than bring experienced internal employees into roles. Management is awful under qualified and non existent. Have own agenda and do not care about development
