The kids really do learn a lot of music. Some really cool teachers. I’ve had some good managers in the past. Serves a cool, diverse group of students.

Cons

- Mismanaged finances- our taxes are repeatedly done wrong costing us thousands of dollars, we seem to constantly be backfilling to make up for poorly managed budgets - huge classes with never ending backfill - insufficient staff for esl, special education, and mental health services for vulnerable students - chaotic- systems are run poorly. Days feel hectic and unpredictable. Poor systems for communication.

Administration has gone down the drain…recently started the school year with new administration that is trying to figure out systems, change systems that already work and micromanage every little thing that is done…but ironically, are never around to support with social-emotional issues in staff and students.
