Pros

They’re third-party contracted by Google to work on various projects and some like mine are unique and interesting to work on. A lot of good entry jobs to get associated with the tech world.

Cons

Pay is below average for requiring a college education (especially for 2022 Austin, TX) and health benefits are sub-par. No paid sick time.

Pros

Quick in hiring, pleasant interview process, quick communication.

Cons

Secretive, not transparent, you don't know what you are in for until you are in and trapped. You don't know what you will do until you start working after your training. You don't know your schedule and you can forget about weekends or holidays off. It all seems chaotic and unprofessional and when you ask questions, you get the answer: you will find out later. And you do but then it's too late. I felt tricked.

Pros

It is a job, that's all I got.

Cons

I was lied to about the benefits by the recruiter. When I went to management after I started and found out the truth I was told it was my responsibility to ask more questions in my interviews. As if I should have known they hired liars or didn't train the people they sent looking for people. No 401K match. 10 days of PTO - that is for bereavement, vacation, sick. If you leave and haven't used it, they don't pay you out for the benefit you earned. It doesn't roll over. No advancement paths. Management doesn't care about employees. You are nothing but a cog...do the job and don't question or ask for anything more.
