Pros

Great way to get into management and grow a career. Make your own schedule, competitive salary and perks.

Cons

Possibility of putting in long days and split shifts. Not very many options to offer more the part time for, non managers.

Pros

Valet has a special culture. Our Execs are on the same page, and you feel the culture across all parts of the organization (Up & Down). I've enjoyed working here very much. Every day we get better, constantly looking for new ways to improve our benefits, our systems, and our people! This is a place you can grow with.

Cons

Because we are across the US, you lose connection with parts of the organization. They are making improvements to help bring us closer, but that is the only downside I see of the organization.

We appreciate your time in posting your work experience at Valet Living. We’re happy to hear that you have had a positive experience here. With business operations across 40 states, we agree it can be a challenge to stay connected with associates. We are continuing to invest further in the Workplace platform, which has been adopted by majority of our associates and has become our #1 channel to share updates and communication with all of our associates. If you have any further feedback to share on how we can improve, please email me at antonio.fiorentino@valetliving.com

Pros

Freedom to plan out your workday. Company truck to take home. Company phone, laptop, ipad, fuel card & expenses card.

Cons

"Work from home" is neat but no separation from work and home life. You work day and night. Day office visits. Night collection. compensated alet turnover making you actually collect the trash and do the work. Service Valet are paid so little after gas and truck maintenance costs they make (give or take) $10 an hour and they quit. They use their own truck and cell phones with no gas or cell phone stipends. NO WORK LIFE BALANCE FAKE COMPANY CULTURE

Thank you for taking time to provide a review. We value your feedback and I’m sorry to hear that you did not have a positive experience working as a District Manager with Valet Living. Our District Managers have a very difficult job and while the split schedule is advantageous to some, it may not work for everyone. We also recognize that our Service Valets that use their own truck take on some personal expense (e.g. fuel) and as such, we pay a higher hourly wage ($3.00-$4.00 more per hour) to them to help offset these costs. If you would like to share any additional feedback or ideas on how we can improve, please email me at antonio.fiorentino@valetliving.com
