Pros

Autonomy and schedule were great.

Cons

First: this company offered a great wage, so good I quit my other job and worked with this company solely. Then: after several months they attempted to reduce the money they were paying me. I declined the pay cut; instead of parting ways they maintained my “employment status” with 0 hours on the books. This effectively gatekeeping me from even applying for benefits while I look for a new job. 2 months later they still refuse to remove me from their employee roster. My manager was extremely disrespectful throughout my employment.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. I'm sorry to hear you didn't have a great experience during your time here. In regards to your comment on refusal to terminate employment, this is not our company practice. I encourage you to email me separately so we can connect to ensure your request is handled appropriately. We take all claims seriously, and would like further details surrounding your situation. Pros

Having a company card to pay for expenses.

Cons

Horrible upper management. No clear direction in the company. Try to do too many things at once instead of perfecting one service. Horrible operational issues which result in so many cancellations and lost sales. When I submitted my two weeks notice they terminated me 4 days early so my final day was the last of the month so I didn’t have insurance for an entire month. They do not pay out your vacation time. They do not pay out your final commission check. They take back their 401k contribution if you work there less than 2 years so you must pay it back. Overall, they are just a horrible company with no morals or values. The turnover rate is incredibly high. Stay away!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I’m sorry you didn’t have a great experience during your time here, and it’s true that working at Valet Living isn’t for everyone. Change is constant in our business, and we ask our associates to be incredibly nimble as we serve customers in an industry that is frequently changing. Related to your comments on separation and 401k company matching contribution, our vesting schedule is 2 years, and as such any contribution made by the company is 100% vested after that period of time. Thank you again for taking the time to leave this review and we wish you the best in your career. If there is any additional feedback you would like to share with us, please send me an email to antonio.fiorentino@valetliving.com

The training is top notch! Everyone within the company is supportive and really wants to see you succeed. Great benefits package.

Cons

Being a new rep in a new territory can be daunting especially when your Sales Manager and the Corporate office are not close by.
