Pros

As a district manager, training has been thorough. My boss has been supportive of me and transition into the role. There's plenty of opportunity within the company to do greater things. I've seen several people get promoted in my short time here. It's very hands on. You can work remotely.

Cons

Pay is on the low end when you consider the title. Most DMs have managers/supervisors between the front-line and themselves. Not the case here. Part-time retention efforts aren't as great from the company side when you consider that your associates are picking up trash.

We appreciate you taking the time to provide a review. It sounds like things are going well for you thus far and you have pointed out a few reasons why we believe we are an employer of choice for someone seeking a new opportunity with a fast growing company. I would like to follow up on a few items you have listed. In reference to pay, we continuously benchmark our compensation plans within industry and alike to ensure we remain competitive in total compensation offering (base pay, bonus, benefits, perks, etc). Our Service Valets are the backbone of our company and efforts remain top priority to decrease the overall attrition rate. We have introduced several programs this year (safety, rewards and recognition, tuition reimbursement, and in certain markets increased pay) to help with retention. We have also streamlined our Service Valet recruitment process, reducing the amount of time to hire someone by more than half. Regarding you final comment, please reach out to me directly so we can discuss further. My email is antonio.fiorentino@valetliving.com

Pros

I'm grateful to work for a company that will invest into my career. We are participating in Valet U which entails UVA's , Darden School of Business. They provide a wonderful culture of continuing education and servant leadership.

Cons

If you don't work well in an environment that is fast changing and growing this is not for you. This is something that I enjoy and look forward to all the exciting changes.

Thank you for writing this review. I am doubly impressed that you took the time as a former associate to write it. So thanks again. We recognize that scheduling hours for our part time valets in advance is important for our associates. I'm glad to see that one of the pros you identified is the flexible time off we provide. To achieve this, we encourage our associates to keep open dialogue with their manager's regarding work availability. If you have any further feedback to share regarding how we can improve our scheduling please email me at antonio.fiorentino@valetliving.com. Thank you.
