For our Service Valet position (Trash Collection), we hire associates conditionally, based on the full background check completion. This explanation and detail is included in our offer letter to all new hires. Valet Living has standards established for all new hires that require successful completion of background screening. It’s a great place to start your management career, offering you the opportunity to build and teams of remote workers while managing most of the customer/account ownership.

Cons

Valet Living steals its employees’ overtime. If you are one of the hundreds of current or thousands of previous district managers that consistently performs labor, you should demand the money you earned. - If you are a salaried employee and you perform more than 20 hours of labor weekly, you are eligible for overtime. - If you consistently perform more non-exempt work (labor) than exempt work, you are due overtime.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. Our District Managers are critical to providing an exceptional experience to our clients, residents and our associates. We provide our District Managers with a company truck, mobile technology, Fortune 500 benefits, training, and support from a variety of internal business partners such as Safety, HR, Recruiting, and IT to support their work experiences. Although it is not our expectation, Managers (including Valet Living leadership) have jumped in to perform work duties alongside our Service Valets, especially during labor shortages. Valet Living will always follow applicable national and state regulations. We appreciate the time you have taken to post a review and wish you the best in your career.
