Pros

Days are open to handle chores, errands or personal projects

Cons

Work is physically demanding on your back and knees, your truck is constantly dirty and you will deal with all kinds of trash including possible sharp objects. Also work evenings which messes up sleep schedules and can take anywhere from 4 to more than 12 hours to complete the job.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. We appreciate you sharing your insights on the company and thoughts on how you feel we can improve. No doubt about it, our Service Valet position is physically demanding and will expose you to some disagreeable odors as you deal with trash collection. There's always some risk when collecting trash and we work hard to provide all our associates with proper PPE and safety training to ensure they mitigate their risk of injury. Thank you again for the review. We appreciate all that you do.

Pros

Work during the night for a few hours

Cons

They expect you to do the property under an hour, they don’t pay much at all and you work during rain and storms. Don’t even try to take a day off because they will make it impossible to do

I'm sorry to hear about your negative experience working for Valet Living, and thank you for sharing your feedback. Each property serviced will vary in the expected timeframe to complete and in most instances, if a property only takes an hour or less, our associate would be assigned additional local properties. We do take associate safety seriously and while our associates do work in inclement weather conditions, we will suspend or pause servicing properties if the weather creates a hazardous situation. Thank you again for this feedback. We wish you all the best.

Pros

It's definitely good for someone to get into feild operations, pays decent

Cons

If you have prior operations experience you problay will not like it here as theure extremely micro mangey, in my region they were running a pilot program witch is terrible where you can't hire your own staff. Lots of non sense for a simple job. Also they have a camera in they're trucks and do not allow managers to opt out if fleet program. They do not mention this in interview. My direct supervisor didn't make it any better he was old and I just can't take someone serious who can't remeber they're own name.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your experience in field operations. Although we are sorry to hear this perspective, we value the opinions of our associates and appreciate you sharing the areas where you feel improvements are needed. We believe in creating an inclusive work environment that fosters trust, respects work-life balance, and encourages open communication. Therefore, comments regarding the age of your manager or suggestions about hiring within a specific age range do not align with our values. Regarding your concerns about micromanagement, we understand the importance of striking the right balance between guidance and autonomy in order to ensure associate satisfaction and productivity. Evaluating and refining our management practices is an ongoing process to support the growth and success of our teams. In terms of associate safety, we prioritize it as a top concern. That's why we have implemented the inclusion of cameras in our vehicles, which is a standard practice followed by many organizations managing a fleet. Additionally, we have a dual dash camera solution that provides real-time audible alerts to the driver, helping them quickly address potential unsafe behavior. If you have any additional feedback or concerns you would like to discuss, please don't hesitate to reach out to me directly at antonio.fiorentino@valetliving.com. We are committed to addressing any issues and continuously improving the associate experience.
