Thank you for your review. We’re sorry to hear that the Service Valet position did not work out for you. We recognize that the Service Valet position may not be for everyone. Working around trash can be messy at times and the physical nature of the job is definitely not for everyone. In regards to your comment on pay, I see that you are in the Denver area which is one of several markets that had an increase in pay rates in 2021, increasing on average $3 more per hour. Thank you again for taking the time to post your review. We wish you all the best in your career.

Pros

Work is easy but management doesn't communicate.

Cons

They tell you your being paid $16 an hour for using your truck and that gas is already figured into your hourly pay. $250 pay every two weeks...$ I spend $80 for gas (20 miles one way)... $170 for two weeks work (20 hours) I'm making $8.50 an hour! And they say they're contributing! Not to mention they take Halloween off as a holiday and don't even tell me...later apologizing they'd forgot to tell me...short paycheck and more work to do!

Thank you for posting a review. I'm sorry to hear that you are not having a great experience working as a Service Valet. Related to your comment on pay, we consistently evaluate the pay rate for our part time Service Valet position to ensure we remain competitive in each of the markets we serve. We recognize the additional cost associated with using your own truck (e.g. gas) and therefore pay a higher hourly rate for those associates that use their own truck for collection. This can vary by market but averages $3-4 per hour more in pay. We are always looking to improve our communication with our associates as we have more than 7k associates working across 40 states. If you are not currently using our Workplace app for updates/communications, I strongly recommend downloading it to stay on top of all the latest updates. If you have any questions or want to share any other feedback , please email me directly at antonio.fiorentino@valetliving. Thank you again for taking the time to leave this review.
