Job security, supposed work life balance

Cons

No work life balance. Depends on the team you get with. Most teams put a focus on a good work life balance, but sometimes you get the short end of the stick when starting. The company policy is to work 37.5 hour work weeks while I put in 50-60, which would be fine if the pay reflected that. I do get a little bit of a bigger year end bonus because of that fact, but after taxes it’s not really worth it.
