Pros

Work-life balance is a pro

Cons

There is a very consistent bait and switch recruitment practice in which you apply for a role and the role you end up is very different one. Once you are in, career progression is almost non-existent if you are not a Vanguard veteran

Pros

Vanguard has excellent benefits, training programs and the company is the best of the best in the Financial Services Industry.

Cons

Vanguard has a old boys club culture. The culture is even worse if your a minority. The sleuth of lawsuits by protected classes (older workers, minorities etc) captures precisely of what is happening behind the shiny glass doors.
