Pros

Great benefits and retirement. Good place to invest.

Cons

Micromanaging at its finest. Every breath you take, every move you make, everything you do is scrutinized, over analyzed and mgmt is always looking for ways to get rid of you.

Pros

Vanguard has very good benefits - 401k, health insurance, PTO, maternity/paternity leave, tuition reimbursement. A lot of very good people work here. They have gyms and cafeterias on campus. Emphasis on volunteering. Typically 40-45 hour weeks.

Cons

-Forcing employees to come back into the office in the middle of the pandemic -Job stability is now gone with Tim Buckley outsourcing many jobs to low quality service providers -Seems less focused on the clients and more on making money -Politics and favoritism run rampant. -People who are more polished and pretty on paper demolish the hard working people who deliver actual outcomes. -Low base pay -Massive disconnect between management and the work they supervise -Many managers run teams tyrant like

Pros

Good benefits that used to be great. Will make great friends. Dress code recently changed to jeans. Working remotely tolerated if you have a company laptop.

Cons

Vanguard just sold an entire division to Infosys, an Indian outsourcing company so those jobs are toast. Veiled threats that more crew will be offloaded in the future. Once heralded as never having a layoff, now layoffs are happening as groups are eliminated. Pay is below average and benefits have been declining for years. Everything is about lowering costs which is seriously affecting the crew's job stability. Jack Bogel the founder wouldn't even recognize the company Vanguard has become under current management - this is a very bad thing.
