      Pros

      - You're constantly stretched and challenged - There is a lot of transparency and everyone understands the why/impact behind their work - Great vision and Vantans are aligned / all working towards the same goals - It's so cliche, but the people at Vanta truly are awesome to work with, the culture is what keeps so many of us grinding year after year.

      Cons

      It's not a knock on Vanta but a call out on how demanding working in a hyper-growth successful start-up is. There is fast-paced, and then there is Vanta-paced. What was true yesterday and what was required to do the job will most likely be different tomorrow.

      Pros

      Amazing team to work with, everyone I interact with was high-level and talented. The marketing team does a great job, branding is strong, and everyone knows who we are.

      Cons

      Upmarket sales is an absolute shit-show. A constant push and pull between segments, and account distribution is lopsided. Numbers are slightly attainable, but dealing with the darling that is startups and growth is absolutely demoralizing. The platform is great, but you need to figure out how to do better with business models that don't exist in the cloud before you hire a whole SDR team to support two segments (which should really be one) with a 1:1 model.
