      Uninspiring - Declining - Outdated

      Pros

      SMEs in SAR. No dress code. Free soda fountain. Flexible work schedule.

      Cons

      Owned by Advent International (private equity firm), slicing and dicing the company, layoffs, sell offs, etc.. It is a sinking ship right now. Outdated practices, processes and software. Some teams do not even use CM software. Enjoy your waterfalls here. Hiring process needs to be redefined to attract younger, smarter talent. Executives preach the company's core values, but do not follow these values in their day-to-day. Maxar is easily three to five years behind the market standard. Every program I have seen is a total disaster where no one knows what to do or how to do it. The company's vision is as blurry as ever right now and there is no light at the end of the tunnel.

      Unlimited FTO. Flexible Hours. Benefits.

      Cons

      Management is extremely inconsistent, they will focus on certain teams that are high performers, and will ensure those teams have everything they need, but will let other teams fall by the wayside, not actually getting anything done, with no direction. The number of times I've heard people reporting to other managers, where they were completely false, is too high.
