Pros

Better management than the branches or corporate since all dealer department employees report to 1 of 3 managers. Since those managers report directly to the VP of the Dealer Department who reports to the President of the company issues are resolved more quickly than other departments. Since the department is sales based, it is easier to receive good annual raises than in other departments if you work beyond their expectations.

Cons

Little opportunity to move up in the corporation in any department of Vector Security so you have to negotiate good pay when you start. Benefits are decent but are started to fall behind what other companies offer.

Pros

Fair Pay, Good Contractors, for the better part good direct reports, good benefits. Lite travel. In-house work relationships were good.

Cons

Structure jagged, long hours, poor vacation policy, No FSA. Turnover meant we had to do everyone else's job too.

Pros

I am a full time employee working in the sales department at Vector Security for many years. They are a great place to work and have recently made some changes to the management staff which has brought about some positive changes. The employees and management are nice to work for in a pleasant working environment. The benefits are very good as well.

Cons

It would be nice to get a bonus at the end of the year.
