Pros

Veeam offers decent pay and benefits, which is expected in tech. The work can be straightforward for SDRs, with access to industry-standard tools like Salesforce. Some colleagues are great to work with and create a supportive team environment.

Cons

Advancement at Veeam heavily favors talkative, outgoing types who mesh with leadership’s social circle, making it feel like a popularity contest. Nepotism is blatant—promotions and recognition often go to those with personal connections rather than merit. There’s virtually no room for growth for lower-level employees like SDRs; career paths are unclear, and opportunities are scarce. Leadership seems aware of these issues but shows little concern for addressing them, leaving lower-level staff feeling undervalued and stuck. The high-pressure environment and lack of meaningful training for new hires only add to the frustration.

Pros

Good company, reasonable compensation and good benefits

Cons

A single lower management individual who is great technically but who is disorganized, not all that self-aware and lacks simple leadership skills can ruin a good opportunity in a great company.

Pros

- Product and R&D team: Veeam Data Platform is leading market and provides best security, relevant feature set, talented team members; - Benefit Package: insurance, meal allowance, team building budgets

Cons

I've started in company in 2019 and was observing how one of the best employers with best solution in the market is collapsing from the inside by poor management and wick decision-making. 1. Sales Management: 1.1. Dictatorship Top level decisions become law. Feedback is not accepted. You should do what you told to and cannot argue with made decision or question their business value. 1.2. Nepotism and career opportunities Loyalty > Expertise. Experts asking questions are uncomfortable. Decisions on promotions are based on good personal relations, not professional achievements. Managers are decided not by skills but by level of loyalty. As professional you end up being useful worker without growth opportunities and managing work on your own without support as managers appear to be less useful. 2. Discrimination in Inside Sales Russian employees that left their homes because of war and moved to other countries are deprived of right to get management roles. Moreover, Russians are not invited to major company events. It was decided by Inside Sales Managers only showing disrespect to people who brings direct financial benefit to the company. 3. Cost Deduction Layoffs are regular in IT, no surprise. On top you get sales plan increase 40% each year in order to save money on salaries for Sales, deduction on business trip compensations, deduction in benefits and team budgets. Hiring less qualified people to replace higher qualified people who left cause they had no chance to grow in salary and roles. 4. Poor Customer Support Change in support strategy for specific product teams led to lower support level and customers leaving due to low attitude to their critical issues with backups. Resulting for Sales losing customer and being accused of not completing plan.
