Pros

With Veeam working on launching new products in SaaS space, there are opportunities to work on building things from the start and get project ownership. Works in kind of start-up pace. Hybrid working model with flexible WFH allowed.

Cons

Nothing for me at this time.

Pros

Less and less lately. Lovely coworkers

Cons

Just a regular company. When there are many employees things are getting the same as in other big company.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. We're glad your colleagues have been a highlight — the people at Veeam truly make a difference. We hear you on the feeling that things can become more "corporate" as a company grows and it's a real challenge, and one we're mindful of. We continue to look for ways to preserve what makes Veeam a good place to work as we scale. We appreciate your continued contributions and hope to keep earning that recommendation!

Pros

Base salary. Some teams have extremely talented engineers. Pretty good balance between Tech, Business and Product (historically, at least).

Cons

Overtly pursuing IPO but anyone below Director level has little-to-no skin in the game. Performance bonus average-to-low for PM. After some recent changes, upper management seems to have shifted to a very short term footing for IPO. Overly focused on what Wallstreet Analysts have to say about strategic shift, with little interest in what existing customers think. Sprawling org chart: it takes time to locate the actual decision makers that have a veto. Internal Sales/CRM tech and integrations move very slowly. International workforce means uneven working hours.

Thank you for this thoughtful and detailed feedback. We're glad to hear the engineering talent and cross-functional balance have been positives — those are things we've worked hard to build. Your concerns about strategic direction are noted. Staying grounded in what matters most to our customers, their data security and long-term protection is something we genuinely believe in, and feedback like yours is a useful check on whether our day-to-day decisions reflect that. Points about empowering engineers, improving internal processes, and ensuring compensation reflects contribution are also well heard. We appreciate you sharing this so openly. Please continue raising these points internally and through our annual survey, where leadership actively reviews employee feedback. Voices like yours matter.
