Pros

- high salary - a lot of benefits that are taxed unfortunately - good place to learn new things as you interact with many environments - if you are lucky a good and fair manager( this was my case)

Cons

- false information from upper management - you work like a dog but only get taps on the back - unfairness in bonus system which favors specific teams - workload is so high you work 9 hours out of 8 - extra workload created because of bad decisions when it comes to features and product logic - very bad work-life balance - empty promises when it comes to raises and promotions - people with less experience get hired with a lot more money then senior employees - cutting benefits instead of rewarding hard work - the list goes on

toxic culture for a good paycheck

Pros

Salary, other benefits like health insurance, colleagues, hybrid work, learning experience and great products. This company was great, when it was owned by the founders. It was like a family really, but it has transformed tremendously in the last couple of years, due to greed and bad management.

Cons

- toxic upper management and profit chasing investment group controlling everything, sometimes being hard to digest and make sense of their disconnected decisions -no winter holidays and a burnout for each end of the quarter -work is always a priority, not family or health - people treated as numbers - working from medical leave because it does not matter how you feel, but what the company needs -sketchy moves with some people's commissions when it's beneficial for the company and salary miscalculation is pretty frequent -unrealistic KPIs focused only on quantity, rather than quality -customers feeling harassed by the company because of the aggressive approach -bad management decisions, leading to losing trust from customers and partners, while also losing credibility (perpetual license abrupt end of sale and then reversed) -constant brainwashing of the employees -2 days mandatory in the office, no matter if you just stay in calls and meetings all day -overtime without payment, as legally the company declares no overtime for its employees -some people from the management are being extremely rude and don't respect the employees reporting to them.

Pros

WFH is the best part of this company. The company had (and still have) very good people, unfortunately their number is decreasing but it is still very pleasant to work with many of them.

Cons

I find it challenging to know where to begin. The situation was considerably better before the arrival of our current CEO. We used to receive competitive salary increases that were often aligned with or even exceeded market standards, and everyone was highly motivated. Unfortunately, salary increases have become a thing of the past; no one has received a raise in the last 2 years unless they could demonstrate a better offer from another company. The company has been on the brink of an IPO for quite some time, yet it hasn't materialized for reasons unknown. When stocks were distributed to employees, the amounts were disappointingly small. Rather than serving as a meaningful incentive, they came across as out of touch with employee expectations, despite management's pride in promoting a sense of shared ownership. It's evident that upper management lacks a true understanding of their workforce, as the majority of employees don't care about the negligible stock distribution. Over the past two years, the workload has continued to increase, yet it seems higher management remains indifferent to this issue. A number of talented individuals have departed the company, and others continue to leave. This has significantly affected our company culture and the caliber of our team, as new hires bring a different dynamic, there is a noticeable decline in the quality of work being produced.
