Pros

Great team and people. Great end of your trips to Europe. Product is popular in industry. Great work life balance. Organise great industry events.

Cons

Massive turn over, no direction for management, internal training is very dry and not overly creative or interesting. Career progression is limited. Salary is far too low for industry. For a company that has massive year on year growth the moral and messaging from management makes you feel youre up against it.

Growing Beyond a Startup

Pros

Veeam is the leader in Backup and Replication software. Disruptive software advancement and a global outreach provided opportunities and experience commensurate with growth industries. No longer a startup, Veeam has the resources and drive to lead this sector of the industry. Benefits and compensation were chincy for the first year, but tenure showed reasonable pay increases and potential for reimbursement for certifications relative to your current role. Relocation and severance accommodations are made available when applicable.

Cons

Growing fast means lots of changes, and even some inconsistent practices. If you are looking for stability or are unable to stretch beyond your comfort zone you may get much out of your time here. Much of IT and Sales had become metrics driven, and with the expansion comes a loss of the 'small business' or 'family' feel as well as some unreasonable expectations. High pressure and ongoing stress is the norm. Alcohol is the libation of choice, expect to feel out of place if you are not a 'party' person. Depending on your role, be prepared to sacrifice your personal life.

Pros

- amazing colleagues due to a common multicultural background (some were abroad, studied abroad, or just love to travel) - average age is 23-24, which makes a nice atmosphere - was an average good salary - cool once-a-year event and team building

Cons

- terrible management - team leads are too young with 0 of competence in managing their teams - upper management - sitting comfy on their backs, due to an economical situation decided to massively downsize the personnel in order to justify lower performance (although 36% of growth each year is pretty good, isn't it?) - very rude managers - were lying about feedbacks from colleague in order force people to leave with a letter of resignation (more than 10 people were "fired" that way) - no career: there are basically 2 positions in sales and 2 in channel. 2 years of work is way enough for this company.
