Pros

The company has built a strong brand and good awareness in the virtualization backup space. Some good people are still there

Cons

1) Huge influence of HR, making key decisions and defining company’s direction, sometime very controversial. 2) Lack of innovation and and ability to address changes in customer demands. Veeam used to bloom during massive virtualization adoption period. With the shift towards cloud technologies, the company failed to come up with any attractive offers, instead, it’s now going backwards and extending support to the legacy systems. Veeam is becoming a very niche player on a stagnant market 3) Ridiculously high targets and the management, who wants to hear only positive news. Sales teams are super stretched, getting lesser pay for more job. 4) Getting less and less customer friendly, overpricing their solutions.

Pros

Nice atmosphere in offices. Some very smart and nice people here to work with, but not that many.

Cons

Management doesn't have a clue. "Veeam-Speed" is not something to be proud of. Lack of planning, poor execution, and lack of having business-focused intelligent management holds them back. Decent products. When a manager has to spend over an hour deliberating over a WORD, that is pretty dismal. Sweat shop. Rude people. Too many meetings with not enough time to get the work done.

Pros

Veeam has lots of team parties and nice staff, good office and workplace; good communication between departments; flexible working hours; multinational environment;

Cons

Nobody understands the future in the company; spontaneous management decisions; great role of HR pushing inefficient projects; every new top has own understanding of company's future and needs, hence staff movements, replacements/ unclear miscommunicated decisions. Lack of career development and education. If you want to develop your career you need to move to another company.
