Great technologies - poor leadership

Pros

Veeco is an interesting company with lots of technologies in their portfolio. Work is never dull.

Cons

Poor leadership team quality that talks more than it acts. They say the right things to appease a moment in time, but do not follow through with real action. The leadership team is far removed from its employees and drives for results first without investing in the people who are doing the work day to day. It is very much command and control and there is little trust in people at all levels of the organization. CEO has a tremendous ego, but is not in touch with what’s really going on at the grass roots level of the business.
