      good pay and benefits if you are one of their pets

      Cons

      pretty much everything else, if you are not an employee who has been there a long time and knows everything, they treat you horribly

      Pros

      Venable is a beautiful place to work, great locations and lots of employee parties. Compensation and vacation is wonderful.

      Cons

      Communication is lacking. There are a lot of smart people that are waiting on management to make decisions. A very top down management structure, slow to make decisions and implement new strategies. Slow to change and many have been with the firm for 30+ years, so happy to stay status quo.

      Flexible, Good amount of PTO, Most of the attorneys are great to work with

      Pay is not competitive, bonus does not reflect work, benefits are expensive, limited options for professional growth, executives making the policies do not understand the profession
