      Pros

      They are all about taking care of their residents and their employees. They go above and beyond for all of us. I love the vacation time and sick time we get, as well as birthdays are a paid off day! What other company would appreciate them to give them their birthday off automatically and make it a paid day!

      Cons

      Pay rate is a little lower than what I think is fare. Also whenever you have questions and you go to senior management instead of sometimes owning up that they don't know the answer but they will find out for you they just make something up. Senior management will never admit when they drop the ball.

Please be sure to send a photo or two of you enjoying your day off when it happens! It's always our goal to create the best employee experience possible. A big part of this is making sure that compensation is both competitive and fair. While our quarterly evaluations are a great time for us to look at making adjustments to pay, we definitely want to encourage you to have a discussion with your manager at any point if you feel like a conversation about the topic needs to happen sooner. Similarly, we always want our teams to have all the support they need in having questions answered or issues resolved. We're sorry that you've experienced some troubles with this in the past. Our "Better Way" forum is one of several avenues available to help make sure that employee concerns are looked at more closely, but there are still times where we might fall short.However, it's critical that we are still working towards resolution, so please reach out to us directly if there is any way at all we might be able to help make this a reality and don't hesitate to speak in the future up if you feel like an adequate solution to overcoming a hurdle hasn't been presented.       Great Company with Long-term Growth Opportunities

      Pros

      Venterra offers its employees the chance to grow and be promoted within. Venterra always offers new positional opportunities internally to its current employees prior to promoting externally. And most of the time these positions are filled from within. I've been with Venterra for many years and have continued to grow.

      Cons

      While Venterra continues to look for the best benefits and plans for its employees it would be nice to have more health benefits available (i.e. gym memberships, higher vision plans, etc). Our insurance does offer gym discounts, however, most of the gyms listed on the site are not well known or close to where I live.
