Pros

There are many things I love about Venterra but a lot has to do with their values and the amazing people working for the company. They have many initiatives including the better way initiative. This is where anyone can share their ideas for improvement. This company truly values our thoughts and ideas and it is refreshing! One of their core values is to be open and candid with each other. I think that is something that helps a company thrive and promotes communication between all team members and upper management. I don't think I have ever worked for another company who encouraged these things! In addition, Venterra employs people who have values in themselves that match the companies core values. This means that I have also been blessed to work with some amazing people who are smart, talented, giving and encouraging. Venterra also thrives to promote from within, so they continue to promote people who may have started at the bottom but show they love their job and continue to grow.

Cons

While some of us may get paid less than what other companies would pay, the culture is worth it. Venterra provides many initiatives and gives us such a great atmosphere that you almost don't care what you get paid.

I have been with Venterra for over a year and it is by the far the best company I have ever worked for. You are valued and appreciated for your hard work. You are asked to express your opinions and they are heard. Venterra has great opportunities for growth in the company as well as providing tools to improve your life outside of work like the Better Living Initiative. Very positive experience for employees and for residents that live at a Venterra community.
