Overall pleasing, but lack of communication between Regionals and Property Staff with exception of Prop Manager.

Pros

The Core Values are unmatched in the industry. Change can be a good thing! The wonderful people who built this company are brilliant. I believe Venterra has a promising future. I am deeply saddened and wish I could have stayed to be part of it. After living in a Venterra Community, you will not be happy anywhere else.

Cons

When an employee has a skill set for higher level position, most voices go unheard. Mostly true when the regional and onsite manager are friends outside of work. Occasionally, a manager has become complacent in their role, and nothing is done to mediate this, causing unhappy residents and poor online reviews, which could easily be avoided. All properties I have visited are great communities. Exit interviews are only offered to some, not all.

I have worked with Venterra for a little over 3 years now. I never thought I would, or could, love a career like I do with this company. You have a voice, we all live by our core values, you are pushed to reach your maximum potential. There is soo many good things about this company!

Cons

You are unable to sell back any vacation at the end of the year that you have not used. Besides that I can't think of anything else.
