Pros

not many. even though you get bonuses they are hit with such a high tax rate you lose 3/4 of it after deductions.

Cons

too many to list. pay increases are dismal. wages are flat. great company as long as you are not in management. highly overworked grossly underpaid for the balance of responsibilities. schedule is terrible. on call 24/7 with zero incentive. highly recommend working for veolia. just dont become a manager. they 100% do not take care of their management.

Pros

make clean water and Milorganite

Cons

have sat with line managers who interview candidates and promise that if the other doesn't hire them, then "I will" You can't treat candidates that way--Karma will get you

Pros

The people that stay are very tight-knit and almost like a family group. I would recommend that you utilize them as a resource and treat them well.

Cons

On-boarding, training, and properly equipping their employees (and especially engineers) are minimal. There is a high turnover rate in leadership and engineer roles from stress related to high expectations from leadership and the stubborn resilience of the operators. The facility is old and is practically a mismanaged derelict with starry-eyed visionaries always coming in trying to "fix" the problem by dictating their commands. Work place politics is the name of the game here to an awful detriment to the folks with boots on the ground. Your promotion depends on which regional/global leader you rub shoulders. The site and leadership offer what they can to support you but that's barely anything tangible other than some advice here and there. EHSS department is obsolete here and reactionary rather than pro-active. There are a lot of engineering and construction practices here that is uncommon and amateurish. RAGAGEP does not exist here. The operators are have a fierce loyalty to those they see eye-to-eye, are very knowledgeable of the process, and will do anything (to a fault) to make their process work.
