Low salaries, minimal support from superiors, zero work-life balance, Flexible Time Off (which is not flexible, can not be used, and will not be paid out). Union employees have full backing of upper management, however middle managers are left out in the cold. Supervisors will pile an insurmountable amount of tasks onto your plate, effectively making it impossible to do all of them while actually doing your real job. Constant revolving door of middle managers is terrible for morale. Senior managers are very selfish about protecting their own time off at the expense of everyone else’s sanity.

Good employees Good mission statement Good experience If you can find a good pocket within the company Veolia is not that bad. Employees genuinely care about what they do, are intelligent amd work really hard.

Cons

Top leadership is way too French Non existent internal standards Mediocre comp and benefits are getting worse Trying to advance, deal with the corporate or with higher up management is always a disaster. So many politics at the C suite level, with many incompetent people at the top. The company has zero interest in improving the employee well-being situation at all, regardless of what they say.

Met some good people that worked there.

Cons

Always running around and trying to lift things I cannot lift, and getting in trouble if things aren’t done at an impossible speed/bullied by people in higher roles than me Terrible people work there, it’s part of the culture No raises or chances to advance Not diverse, many known racist people in high roles Nepotism
