Pros

Verathon's culture is laid back internally with a very friendly environment, there are a many great people that work there. They offer pretty decent benefits and recently increased the PTO for their employee's.

Cons

Constant Change in Customer Care Department, Lack of concern regarding customer's coming first, new management and supervisors, no direction! Parent company has come on board and started reorganizing the company, lots of change going on at the moment.

Pros

- It is a small company - you can work on many different aspects of a project. For example; as a developer you may have to write some test cases or as a tester you may have to fix bugs in production code. - Because it is a small company, sometimes it feels like a small family. For example; on your birthday, they will write you a card and buy cake.

Cons

- Poor management practices; all the up to and including the CEO. - Exceptionally poor hiring and firing practices. - Low pay

Pros

Lean org. Highly Efficient. Newly renovated building. Leading products in the space. Have a very regimented/structured system that works well if you can fall in line. Strong global presence. Values loyalty/obedience above all else.

Cons

Toxic management structure. Eliminate all voices of dissent, leading to a very boring, but profitable, organization. Very slow to innovate. Culture is a put your head down and run a lean operation, and hires employees that fit that mold.
