      Smart people, part of alphabet, free food

      Cons

      Ambitious snakes for coworkers who steal your ideas to get ahead, no true team atmosphere Management who have never managed people Poor leadership and no strategy No viable products and peddling lies to customers

      Toxic culture

      Pros

      The mid-level people are super smart and driven. They believe in the work.

      Cons

      Leadership doesn't care at all about the workforce. Heard this directly from the head of HR: "Verily isn't a great place to work, so we shouldn't communicate too overtly that in our recruiting efforts." When the head of people says its not a great place to work, you can be sure it's not a great place to work.
