      Pros

      Company promotes from within. Company's core values include integrity, respect for people. Verizon pays for performance and recognizes hard work. Benefits and compensation are very good. Tuition Assistance is offered.

      Cons

      Verizon moved its CS headquarters from Irvine, CA to Chandler, AZ. Many long-time employees were lost in the transition. It feels like the company now values profitability over people. Culture is very bureaucratic and stuffy, left over from landline days. Some employees are discouraged. There are a lot of metrics to balance/be rated on for all employees from entry level to upper management. It is a highly competitive environment. If you are not an aggressive or competitive person, you may not fit in.

      Some of my best friends I have I made while working there. They have college reimbursement.

      Cons

      Only apply if you are a shark with sales, shady and do not want a life outside of work. Must be willing to do anything to get a sale, even if you have to lie.
