      No one will promote for doing excellent work

      Pros

      Relatively stable workplace for employees. Not contractors.

      Cons

      Lots of circles of trust. People get promoted just becuse they're friends from previous lifes or at the personal level, same ethnic background, etc. Not because they do a good job.

      Pros

      Pays fairly well. You make life long friendships with your colleagues. That's it.

      Cons

      Everything. Executive leadership favoritism, micro management, judgmental senior leadership and they will separate you from the company for no reason. As an exempt employee, in retail store management, I was made to work over 40 hours per week by my direct supervisor and the supervisor above. It will happen to those of you too who will be in retail management.

      micro managed,treated like a child,hounded to cold call,kept in fear to motivate,working twelve hour days and they act like you should not get a break
