Job Satisfaction: Helping customers and seeing the impact of your efforts on retention can be rewarding. Data Analysis: You'll likely work with data analytics, which can be intellectually stimulating and provide insights into customer behavior. Problem Solving: Addressing customer concerns and finding solutions can be challenging and satisfying. Impact on Revenue: Retaining customers often leads to increased revenue as loyal customers tend to spend more.

Cons

High Expectations: There can be pressure to meet retention targets, which might create stress. Repetitive Tasks: Some aspects of the job, such as making routine calls or sending standard emails, may become repetitive. Dealing with Dissatisfaction: You might regularly encounter dissatisfied customers, which can be emotionally taxing. Balancing Priorities: Juggling between retaining existing customers and acquiring new ones can sometimes be challenging. Dependency on Other Departments: Achieving customer retention might rely on cooperation from other departments, and if they fall short, it can impact your efforts.

Pros

Pay and benefits are good so each gets a star. You do need to perform well in order to maximize your pay.

Cons

Several. The bad heavily outweighs the good. You make decent money but you will trade your mental stability in the process. Quotas fluctuate, no quota relief so no real disconnection from work for a vacation, systems are genuinely terrible, processes take far too long when they should be simple, the pressure is immense and there’s no reason for it to be the way that it is. That standard has been set by the company. The pay is good but it isn’t Wolf of Wallstreet good. So why do we have that culture and that stress for low 6 figures? I believe triple the amount of pay would be fair because you do the work 3 people.

Pros

Tuition reimbursement, pto, medical dental insurance options offered, wfh, provide equipment

Cons

Leadership typically sucks, metrics are unrealistic, expect taking many calls with little to no time in between. Policies they have In place are supposed to protect reps from being verbally abused but they don’t ACT on them no matter how the customers account is notated. Customer reviews are poorly structured so it’s easy to get terrible reviews. They want customer service to be like a “one stop shop” so they make sure you know your title includes being financial services, tech support, billing, account management specialist, SALES (with no commission), pretty much doing every other departments job too till it’s either escalated or you have to actually transfer them to that department for further assistance because they have access to systems in their department that you don’t. Pretty much expect to don “multiple hats” with little pay and lots of stress! It’s hard to move up in the company, at least for me it was.The pay period structure is HORRENDOUS ! The way they dish out the pay for the two weeks seems deliberately complex and I’ve had to call numerous times about my checks being messed up. The systems always have issues lol and when they do you may not get paid for being “offline” depending for how long… Lastly, I rarely ever got out on time so I worked overtime often but unless you work an abundance of hours (when I say abundance I mean ABUNDANCE) your check is gonna be a disappointment to say the least ! So much so worked OT on purpose twice and said NEVER AGAIN and felt played with in every way. With all these weird nuances and stressors it’s hard to have a good work life balance. I could go on and on but before I dive deeper into this rabbit hole I’ll end it here
