Pros

Great experience working with a large corporation. Good pay & benefits

Cons

Over the years, the negatives have piled up More responsibilities as they cut other jobs, placing a larger load on existing support No more fun KPI only driven + WAY TOO ANY KPI's! One report would show you're doing great, while another would show your not tracking your YoY / WoW (year over year / week) results. 10 different ways to look at reports. Oh the politics!

Pros

-It is not a horrible salary, has good insurance, and also has a 401(k). -Paid sick time available -Paid Vacations

Cons

Slowly, you are losing your health because of all the hours you spend dealing with multiple customers at the same time—up to eight conversations at the same time. Be prepared to miss all the holidays with the family because the shifts are designed to keep you in a mousetrap; there is no work-life balance. Your mental health will be affected by the fact that customers can abuse you without any support. Most people, after several years doing this job, are suffering from depression and anxiety, and career progression is almost nonexistent.

Pros

work from home/ hybrid, decent pay and benefits

Cons

Senior execs have made several terrible decisions (heck board made a terrible decision hiring Hans, who made MEC a focus, etc.) and company has gone downhill since, with stock and profits as proof to support this. Company seems far more interested in social causes and political correctness than making money for the shareholder. Again, stock price and balance sheet reflect this. Anecdotally, it seems if you don't fit into (or better, not fit) a certain demographic, your career path is greatly limited (as well as your chances of getting a job). Personally, I've experienced times where lesser qualified candidates were given a role over better candidates, and I, myself, was chastised for having a team that was "not minority enough" and instructed by my manager that I *must* hire a female (specifically) next time, even if it took much longer to find a qualified candidate.
