Pros

The benefits started day one, the tutition reimbusment funds are awesome. Plus, Verizon will pay for your education directly to the college before your classes start, which means no money out of your pocket.

Cons

The politics made it difficult to get promoted. Open positions are listed but ususally the actual position has already been given to someone. Management will still go through the motions of interviewing people who do not stand a chance of getting the job.

Pros

Pay decent for retail.Decent benefits. Pretty good training programs.

Cons

Favoritism, extreme pressure. Management weak. Retail managers clueless. You could never do enough for this company and the people crushing the numbers are the biggest liars and cheaters in the stores. They talk all day about having integrity but don't practice what they preach. You're trained to mislead customers with clever appoaches like bundling. Horrible work, life mix. Since you're always under pressure to hit unrealistic quotas you practically have to live at a store.

Pros

- Pay is great. - Team Leaders were very helpful

Cons

- Forced to shove products down customers throats even as a technical support person. This isn't so bad as of course you want to make money for the company. But in the end was becoming so bad the customers would explain that before they got to me someone that spoke broken English was holding them hostage on the call unless they agreed to add something to their account. - Sending more and more jobs overseas. A leader even went as far as telling the people getting let go that these "Global Partners" were happy to get paid $7 per hour and had no problems asking customers to buy more.
