Pros

- Good benefits and salary if you manage to negotiate good package going in - Laid back culture, if you like slow-paced environments

Cons

- Very limited opportunities to grow internally - Too many restructuring and layoffs (twice a year and sometimes more) - The leadership team seems clueless and lacks vision, strategy, and clear direction - Stock options are offered only to directors (and sometimes managers) - Some executives are jerks and bluntly threaten to cut heads on conference calls and meetings - Doesn't foster open-door policy where you can reach out and talk to directors and executives - There are always rumors going around about downsizing and those rumors end up being true most of the time. Bad management decisions and tough competition is driving Verizon Enterprise Services into the ground

Pros

Not sure if the folks posting some of these reviews just have horrible attitudes or wha, but I am on pace to earn $95K my first year. I work about 45 hours per week. One review said there were days where no new lines would come in for an entire shift, I average 2.4 sales per hour!!! My benefits are $20,000 per year, which I pay $3,900 for, this covers my wife, kids, health, dental, life. Best benefits I've ever seeen. The 401K is a 6% match dollar for dollar. So when you factor in all the benefits, my compensation is around $125K per year. So for those of you complaing and not doing well, I would check yourself first before blaming eerything around you.

Cons

Must work weekends first six months until yur performance gets you a better bid. Other than that, absolutely none.

Pros

Tuition reimbursement. Great benefits. Paid vacation and sick leave. Amazing district trainer. The hiring process is long but you do have a paid training, which is a plus.

Cons

Work/life balance is terrible. No team work was ever encouraged and management talked about employees behind their backs. Early morning meetings before shift, which made for an extremely LONG day.
