Pros

Good Benefits, Decent Pay. The Culture was very good. The best part of the job are the friendships you make along the way.

Cons

Takes time to career progress unless you know someone. Lots of back stabbing with a smile. Ok for young folks that want a few years of experience for a resume.

Pros

Great pay, flexibility of schedule, and nice benefits package. The work is rewarding and you feel as though you are making an impact to the frontline.

Cons

In order to advance with the company in any capacity, they expect you to relocate. This proves challenging for young talent who is just beginning to buy homes and start a family.

Pros

The only PRO would be the team mates ( Excluding 'sups' , management and AD'!!

Cons

Where to even begin? EVERYTHING! Horrible company! We scam customers on data they never used and we don't provide credits because we have to keep our credits low each month, otherwise we get in trouble if we give too many credits! Don't expect your 'trade in value' what was promised. ' free tablets ' are not free! You are locked in a 2 year contract for a tablet that is junk and you will pay $10 a month for it even though it was supposed to be ' free '. There is no such thing as free with Verizon! Have fun with your so called sup who uses bullying tactics to try to make you quit or want to quit. Managers yell at you, HR does not a thing about it unfortunately. Your job title should really be called ' I take verbal abuse advocate '. 9 out of 10 calls your customers will be screaming , yelling and swearing at you, but sups demand you be their ' hero' and make their day better after you just got called every name in the book . Oh yeah and if your customer escalates higher to a 'sup when is actually not a sup they are called CRT Reps that take calls just like normal reps' expect to be in trouble for having to escalate an angry yelling cursing customer. You have no life working the hours that you have to bid for. You can kiss family life , kid life and school out the window. Health benefits are expensive and horrible. You don't even make enough money for what you have to deal with. Also, if you have anxiety or depression or any mental health issue expect it to be 100% worse. If you have no mental health issue you will before you quit here. People have heart attacks from this job, this is not a lie. One Rep had a stroke while taking calls and the manager didn't believe him and never called an ambulance the gentleman had to take himself to he hospital . Managers only care about one things : numbers!! Numbers numbers numbers. Every coaching you get is never what you are doing right its always what you can approve on, they are never happy with anything. I recommend all VZ customers to go to tmobile for unlimited data for $70 a month!! Just for 2GB alone you will pay $35. We had to waive our upgrade fees because we're losing customers. We lost so many customers in 2016 that it equaled to the amount of the population in 3 states one state including the population size of Texas. We are not well trained. We don't have team builders or fun things to do. All we do is a team huddle for 5 min on the floor in the morning about what we need to approve on and then we are on the phones back to back for 8-10hrs a day. We have no time in between calls , not even 1 second. If you have to go into personal time to use the restroom expect to be talked to. Vz does not care about employees or their customers!! I don't recommend this even for a job to get you by and I wouldn't recommend this company to use as your carrier, trust me we have so many dead spots and areas!! We don't have the fastest network in all reality T-Mobile does!! STAY VERY VERY VERY FAR AWAY FROM VERIZON WIRELESS!! PS: if you call in often on your acct there is a red stop sign with a hand in it to try to prevent future calls from you as your calls cost us about $13-$15 for every call you make to us!! Can't wait for this company to go downhill so I can get a severance package! Vz cheats, their liars and teach employees to lie!!
