Pros

Literally nothing. This place will waste your time and spit you out.

Cons

This is the worst sales org ever. Incredibly toxic and horrible. I cannot say enough bad things about this place.

Pros

Good area in DT Austin. Free food, snacks, drinks, etc. Good product training as well.

Cons

The account alignment is stacked against most reps. Medium business is at the very bottom with little opportunity, while SLED and Corporate constantly fight over accounts just to scrape by on quota. Favoritism is common, and who gets opportunities often has more to do with politics than performance. Leadership in particular is a weak spot. Many managers and the directors lack genuine sales management experience and rely on surface-level frameworks instead of real coaching. There’s very little care for reps as people—leaders don’t ask how you’re doing, and constructive feedback is not welcomed. In fact, offering suggestions or criticism can backfire, with accounts being reassigned or opportunities taken away in favor of favorites. It creates a culture of fear rather than growth. Day-to-day, expect micromanagement over mentorship. Directors will check in multiple times on deals you already updated them on hours before, but provide little in the way of real support. The culture itself is cliquey and fraternity-like—if you’re not in the “in crowd,” you’ll feel it. Verkada might work if you’re straight out of college and want early exposure to sales. But if you’re looking for real career development, supportive leadership, competitive pay, and job security, RUN!!

Pros

Fun in-office culture. Makes going into the office everyday bearable Decent place if you are just starting your sales career. But only if you have never had any Tech Sales job in your life.

Cons

Mis-aligned leadership Favoritism Cliques Misleading during interview process on how well reps are doing as far as attaining OTE. Compensation is way below the industry average, both in salary and commission No care for their employees, effort and skill mean nothing if you're not a favorite of the leadership Unrealistic quotas with awful territory segmentation. Quotas only based on seniority level without taking the territory the reps are covering or historical data in mind I would never recommend that an experience AE work at this company. The leadership is awful, misguided, and inexperienced. They don't care about the actual skillset or experience their reps have. So many partners and companies have a bad taste in their mouth from bad experiences with this company, which makes it nearly impossible to foster relationships or expand your book of business in a timely manner. Recruiters and leadership will also lie to you about how well the office is doing and the ability to attain OTE. Only 32% of reps in this office are attainting over 50%, and I can't imagine how much worse other offices are doing . Churn is absolutely insane because those who are attaining over 50% have very lucrative zip codes with deals fed to them from leadership and/or pre-existing relationships. Your actual skillset does not make a difference at this company as far as performance or recognition. Stay away if you care about your career and making money long-term. I also need to add that this is the only company I have ever worked for where sexism is abundantly clear. From men clearly objectifying women, to women not being treated fairly when it comes to evaluations and lead distribution. I witnessed women being affected by this firsthand, and let me tell you HR is NOT on your side. Women beware.
