Pros

Loved being a part of the Vermeer team and loved the job. I was always touting the great place to work that WAS Vermeer.

Cons

I legitimately injured myself while working. I was fired for not disclosing a bicycle injury sustained 15 years prior that I had never had problems with since. They fought me on everything. They are the epitome of corporate greed. 39 defective hay mowers were knowingly sent out "fix if fail" - how's that for caring about their customers? I discovered this while on light duty post injury, I was fired a week later.

Pros

There is a wide variety of products which provides some stability in troubling times. Also this gives the flexibility to work on several different types of machines.

Cons

Project planning for new product development is lack luster. Manufacturing floor workers seem to be overworked at times.
