Cons
The CEO runs the company like its still the 80's and micromanages to no end. There is no management structure, everyone reports directly to him. He may say in the morning meeting that the focus will be project A, then a couple hours later tell everyone to stop everything and to focus all energy on B. This is a common occurrence. If he is unsatisfied with your work, its normal for him to yell at you and call you stupid, he may even slap your back or head in the process. He abuses his staff and takes advantage of desperate people that need a job or experience. He constancy lies to his customers and just tells them what they want to hear. "Promises are made to be broken" is a direct quote. He doesn't like when employees leave at 5pm, he wants people to go above and beyond but doesn't reward or acknowledge any extra effort in any way. Its a common occurrence to hear him yelling at employees in his office, or right in the common work area. He will air employees personal business in meetings and bad mouth people behind their back. Knowledge is consistency lost because no one sticks around long enough to train new hires. There is no project management, projects take way to long and are most of the time never completed because a new crisis comes up and projects are forgotten. The most work we ever got done was when the CEO went out of town for a couple of weeks and we implemented a SCRUM team without his knowledge.
