Pros

There are some very talented and committed professionals. It is a fantastic place to work to learn about direct marketing.

Cons

They have been through 2 pre pack Chapter 11, and continue to milk old technology. We used to be leaders in innovation and technology. Dire need of senior management that recognize the need for investment in talented professionals.

Pros

There was a lot of opportunity to take on new tasks and learn new skills. There was the facility responsibility, but also the ability to work on project teams supporting the organization at large.

Cons

Due to "austerity measures" they cut too much of the staff and employees are overloaded and not compensated or appreciated. When launching new initiatives the Sr. Leadership Team did not coordinate efforts or prepare appropriately, resulting in chaos, under-communication, mis-understanding and frustration. The Sr. Leadership does not take the time to truly understand the challenges of the inserts platform and tries to run the business as if everyone fits the "corporate employee" mold. The Sr. Leadership in HR micromanages to the point of being ineffective and unavailable.

Pros

Benefits are not bad. Other than that it is not an exciting company to work for.

Cons

The company doesn't have a clear strategic direction. Communication between management and employees is very poor. No professional growth.
