Horrible Corporate Partner

Pros

The hospital that I worked with was filled with wonderful doctors and staff. However, corporate HR made it extremely difficult to address staffing problems when they came up.

Cons

The Human Resources department struggled to do even the most basic useful things. They did not help at all with hiring, and made removing problematic employees a nightmare. Anyone who complained about the state of staffing would be written up. If you see a clinic partnered with VPP, reconsider applying- especially if you would be going into a leadership role.

Pros

Onboarding process was highly successful, and impressive given the remote nature of this company. I had 25-30 introductory sessions in the first two weeks with individuals throughout the organization to learn about the various functions of the business, and how they interact with Finance. By the time I went to an offsite meeting, I felt like I already had a connection with most of the team, and had only been working there for three weeks. This company really means what it says and does the right thing at all times. Everyone is very genuine. The culture is contagious. I am looking forward to further integrating into the business, and developing deeper relationships with everyone. This company is going to be very successful!

VPP has a wonderful philosophy on partnering with veterinary hospitals but leaving the medicine local and in the hands of veterinarians. This company is growing and has great leadership. I’m allowed the autonomy to do my job and think for myself.

Cons

Does stretch support team a but thin at times.
