Pros

Room for Growth Good Pay Amazing People & Culture Strong Company Job Security You truly get what you give here

Cons

Sometimes you have longer days than others, but that's Sales really. There's no successful company you can go to, work in Sales, log off every day at 5 pm and truly be successful. You gotta put in the work - sales is gritty and sometimes requires the extra effort. If you don't wanna put it in - pick another line of work.

Pros

Vevo has a very clear direction of travel moving forward. If you want to work at the convergence point of music, media & tech than Vevo may be for you. If you work in video ad sales, the overall volumes, targeting and general audience capabilities are impressive and not easy to come by in other organizations. There's a large flow of high quality original content and tons of music video premieres every week and great working relationships with the artist, manager & label communities. The staff is socially engaging and spend time at events and concerts outside of work. The management team spends time ensuring transparency of overall company strategy/focus/goals and that all employees are well informed (if they choose to pay attention). Artists frequently visit the building and there's quite a few opportunities to see young up & comers play in an intimate setting. Fairly decent PTO policies as well as generous maternal/paternal leave.

Cons

Several strategy shifts over the past several years have led to higher than usual turnover. The interior of the office is nice, but the exterior leaves you in the middle of Times Square actively trying to avoid throngs of tourists and Elmo impersonators.

Pros

Vevo really cares about its people and our happiness. We are well taken care of from a benefits and comp perspective. We work really hard here, but also have a great work/life balance - it is not uncommon for employees to work from home once a week, and Vevo encourages its employees to enjoy time outside of work, whether it be to spend time with family, pursue hobbies/interests, etc. The culture is one of the best I've experienced at any company I've worked at. Vevo is like a second home to me, my co-workers are open, friendly, collaborative, and respectful.

Cons

We have gone through some rocky times as of late, but the company's direction is pivoting in different direction that I'm confident will be more beneficial to the company's bottom line.
