Diversity Issues

Pros

-Typical office in that all the leadership/exec roles are not filled by diverse candidates (just look at the website). - Work/life balance culture is great - WFH policies are nothing to complain about - There are several teams that have great dynamics. You will likely make friends here! Some great people to meet.

Cons

- After you work here a few months and "the illusion is shattered," you'll start to notice some patterns around here regarding who is advance and be promoted, and who gets passed over or "reorganized" every quarter - Execs don't know "all lives matter" is not it

Pros

Some smart people to work with. Overall this place is a good stepping stone.

Cons

The company is rudderless, lacking any clear direction or strategy since the previous CEO stepped down. Employees are fleeing as fast as possible. They completely mishandled the transition from building a platform to whatever the new strategy is.

Pros

- The only remaining pro are the health benefits - Coworkers and peers are some of the best people I've had the pleasure to meet and work with.

Cons

- Zero mobility in the company. - Zero accountability from leadership and especially from HR when it comes to company initiatives and values. - For all the talk about diversity and how every leadership talks about "doing better" each year, Vevo could do better at creating an inclusive environment for it's BIPOC employees. Just look at the leadership team. - HR has done a great job at removing any semblance of company culture from Vevo. - HR is constantly telling it's employees to "Stayed Tuned" or "More to come" without providing any substance or concrete answers. Consistently deflecting and becoming defensive when actual critical feedback/questions are raised by the employees. - Company has no intention on fixing the major issues in a way that will increase the morale and trust among the employees.
