Pros

If you are in the programming department there are opportunities to do some interesting work.

Cons

Sales organization is the worst, hopefully it has improved. It was a very toxic environment, hard work does not get recognized. You are not valued and you are often expected to work while on vacation and a real lack of appreciation and consideration.

Pros

Vevo lets you take on as much challenge as you want, and there are lots of new things unfolding here: new cross-platform features, new platforms all in a rapidly growing profitable company. Vevo has more video views per month that all but a small number of companies, so knowing your work touches millions every day is exciting, but Vevo is still small enough the organization is still fairly flat, everyone has a say, and you will not be held back by anything if you want to tackle tough problems. Most people here do not let ambition get in the way of having fun, however, so there is a certain laid-back vibe, with music playing a lot in the background, lots of ping pong games and socializing. So there's a range of experiences here, depending on what each person wants out of their job. Salary and benefits are very competitive.

Cons

The usual challenges: company has grown very fast so systems are not always built out as well as we would like (but no one will stop you from taking the initiative to fix them, unlike some companies). Communication between technical teams in different offices still leaves a lot to be desired, and roles & responsibilities between groups could be better defined -- some important work slips through the cracks because no one seems to own it. The profit sharing plan does not offer the same upside as equity in a start-up; then again, this company that's already profitable, and most start-ups never get there, so you just need to decide what's important to you.

Pros

Schedules can be flexible which is nice

Cons

Splits are terrible, they act like an established company but don't have the tools or resources to support their staff, they don't treat remote staff as part of the team, human resources is a joke. They will take your soul and crush you.
