Pros

Helping people who need the care.

Cons

Absolutely no work life balance. Upper management pushes for growth that is not realistic with staff available. Hostile responses from management. Hard work is rewarded with more work. Staff who has worked here for years say that they have not had a raise. Poor staff retention (if most of your front line staff has worked for less than a year, there is a glaring issue). Expect to be verbally abused if you can't work outside your established hours or you set limits. Favoritism with scheduling. Sign on bonuses aren't paid as advertised.

Pros

- Some absolutely phenomenal coworkers! - Easy interviewing process. Quarterly meetings which have a happy hour afterward in which they provide you with a free hotel room, free alcohol, and free food.

Cons

- Work environment can be hostile and disrespectful. - High expectations (which isn’t necessarily a bad thing) but they do not provide their employees with resources to meet those expectations. My work load was very heavy and usually I needed help because it was too much for me to complete on time. Sometimes help was given but when it wasn’t, I had to rush through my work, often overlooking small details and making errors. This could have been prevented if I had been given the assistance I requested. - Micromanagement to the point that it’s truly appalling. The micro-managing I experienced was so bad that it became a DISTRACTION from my work. To have my boss constantly calling, emailing, IMing, or just plain looming over me while I’m trying to do my work made it difficult to for me to focus and stay on task. - Extremely high turnover rate, leaving the company understaffed and employees working long hours as well as their PTO requests being denied. Yet the company still treats their employees as expendable resulting in their personal improvements and needs being completely ignored.
