Pros

Great place to work. It is very youthful and has vibe. People are very friendly at property and corporate level. Guest like the laid back service style, upscale, but with out all the other stuffy things that come with a nice hotel.

Cons

There have been various shifts in ownership at many of the properties and we have lost a lot of hotels. We are gaining some back as well, but it makes you wonder a bit abou the stability of your job... especially management.

Pros

Viceroy is still a growing company. This offers a chance to still be creative, and provide an individual impact. The employees are warm, friendly and encouraged. Benefits are available - and are in line with industry standards.

Cons

Some room for growth in the area of employee internal systems. Still using older systems for processing of vacation, and sick time requests, etc. Mixed property standards in the brand. Some hotels are below par, and some are very high end.
