Pros

Pay - OK Benefits - OK

Cons

Upper management is (particularly in development ) specializes in disparaging and demotivating the employees. The attrition rate has gone up, the reasons are obvious. One man running the show, micromanaging tasks, not the best way to get things done the right way. A very common phrase that you will hear "my way or the highway". Does not matter if that "my way" is illogical but if it comes from higher up is the gospel ( technical decisions ).

Videology is proud of the work our teams have accomplished. The efficiency, speed, and look of our products are due to the hard work and dedication of our teams and the people in which we have invested. Because we have tasked our leaders with aligning and influencing teams to excellence, Videology is focused on their development to ensure they are equipped with the skills, tools, and resources needed to engage and inspire their teams. For example, we are rolling out additional leadership development programs for our managers, utilizing 360-degree feedback to raise awareness and enable our leaders to address skill opportunities – and to pay forward their strengths. It’s all part of our plan to build capable, engaged teams who can drive our vision this year and beyond! Employee development is of utmost importance as we set ourselves apart from the competition. We encourage all employees to focus on their own growth and provide upward feedback regarding their manager’s leadership capabilities to better help them address their development as well.

Pros

Great Salary Generous Stock Options Free wheeling T&E processes (good or bad?) Nice Headquarters and European offices

Cons

Acquired two companies in 2012 for around $26mm in stock and cash. Doubled the size of your workforce. Opened in 8 international markets in a six month period. Sounds good on paper until the truth comes out. You're hemorrhaging cash, can't pay your bills and laid off 40% of the workforce to make up for the financial mismanagement. You have exorbitant amounts of waste at all levels. No check and balances for T&E policies for sales staff. Too many Chiefs not enough Indians. Why do you need so many people at the top making so much money? People promoted after little time with the company and without proving themselves. dedication and perseverance are not rewarded here.
