Pros

Working for some decent clients.

Cons

Unnecessary discussion for small decision. You put in a lot, and I mean a lot, of hours and this gets you absolutely nowhere. Too many changes of direction, a sign of poor leadership. Management is awful. Negative workplace environment. This place also thinks being vulgar and saying unprofessional things is something to be proud of. They're also slow to remove under-performing senior people in key positions, which exerts a drag on progress in a number of ways.

Depressing work-place, no pension

Pros

Young company Can learn a lot and start a good career

Cons

No work-life balance, working until late is expected. Working from home on evenings and weekends are expected. Working on Bank Holidays is expected. No Employer-contribution to pension AT ALL, 0%. No perks, etc. As a result of all the above, many employees are depressed and cynical about their work there, which makes it a depressing place to work in many ways.

Videology Response

We were surprised, and disappointed, to see these comments. Have you shared any of your concerns with Human Resources or your direct supervisor? General feedback in the London office has been very positive, with the majority of staff saying that they love working for Videology because we are doing very exciting, cutting-edge things across our business. The staff in London has a high level of engagement, a strong sense of collaboration as evidenced during the multiple team events held throughout the course of this year. On the whole, employees enjoy the Videology culture and work hard because they enjoy the challenges of a fast growing business, and the opportunity that represents given our position in the TV advertising ecosystem. We appreciate your frank feedback, and strongly encourage you to meet with your Manager or Human Resources so that they can directly address your concerns.

Strong growth company in a dynamic industry

Pros

Being a growth company, great opportunities to learn about a fast-growing industry (Advertising technology). Similarly, lots of chances to change teams internally and/or spend time at international offices, especially for folks in Operations or Product Management. Well-respected leadership team who know the industry well. While the hours can be long for some, solid work environment and seemingly fair overall compensation packages.

Cons

Growing so quickly has led to changing team functions/responsibilities, and the change and ambiguity has created challenges for many in the company. For some in the company, the hours are long. Some grumble about growth opportunities, but that seems more individual and merit-based - if you're great, you'll be recognized and growth opportunities are boundless.
