Great Company to Work For

Pros

- Having Scott Ferber as your CEO - he's off-the-wall, but in a great, positive way. - Friendly, young, intelligent workforce. - Team-first attitude. Me-first attitudes are not accepted. - Transparent work environment. - It doesn't matter how you get there; at the end of the day, if you accomplish your goals, that's all that matters. There's a "work smarter, not harder" work attitude. - Ample opportunity for professional growth and promotions. - People care about their work here and you can see it.

Cons

- As a fast-growing company, certain initiatives, projects and programs can get "lost in the sauce." - 401K isn't matched by company.

Pros

- Flexible working - Can take initiative and grow

Cons

- Company's values and actions are in direct opposition. - No benefits - no health, no pension, minimum holidays. - No culture - the only thing the company does to count as 'culture' in the UK is to stock a fridge with some alcohol.

We have received and responded to the feedback regarding health and welfare benefits in the UK and other offices abroad. Since this review, we have taken many strides to build a robust benefit program for our UK employees. The UK leadership has taken an active role in developing programs that, we think, are just flat-out awesome. Here’s just a few we’d like to mention: • Private medical and dental insurance • Equity options • Pension benefits • Subsidized gym memberships • Additional summertime holidays • Spot bonuses and recognition awards • Employee and leadership development With these additional programs, the UK office is becoming a model workplace that values and rewards our teams’ contributions on a consistent basis. Moreover, we are continuing to evaluate our benefit programs across our global organization, taking employee feedback seriously, and mapping out the best ways to engage and healthy and happy workforce.

Pros

- smart people - a lot of freedom to operate as you see fit - purist approach to their job and technology - respect their clients and partners - no BS or internal politics

Cons

- Tech is somewhat a let-down, or a tad late in the game - No benefits whatsoever - none - pay is so-so - shifting strategy all teh time, some call it being nimble, but when that occurs every two weeks that's called knee-jerk

As a company focused on continually assessing and positively impacting our current work environment, we’d like to take a moment to provide Glassdoor readers some insight into the benefits we have to offer. Videology currently offers a wealth of employee benefits, providing a comprehensive and competitive total rewards package that attracts, retains, and engages our workforce. From health care benefits (medical/dental/vision, life & disability coverage, a robust wellness program) to the financial (variable compensation plan, equity options), we aim to meet our employees’ needs. In addition, there are plenty of “me” benefits focused on fostering employee satisfaction and success (such as paid time off, flexible scheduling, employee development programs – and a soon-to-be-announced employee recognition program). In terms of compensation: Videology’s base compensation is competitive within the markets we reside. And, based on past reviews, employees know there’s a ton of opportunity to grow (and earn more) within this company. We are constantly reviewing and evolving our benefit offerings to best align with the needs of our employees. We have accomplished so much over the past few years; in January 2014, our executive team outlined key strategic priorities for all of us to ensure we continue on this trajectory. We have not wavered on these priorities though we must continually assess the best pathway to success. Pretty typical in this fast-paced industry! Visit our website (www.videologygroup.com) to learn more about what we have to offer!
